Confusion on Monday morning: reports of a 'revolutionary plan' at Adidas AG turn out to be fake. An Adidas AG spokesperson confirmed to FashionUnited that the press release in question had not been sent out by the German sportswear company.

The supervisory board of the Adidas AG has approved CEO Bjørn Gulden's revolutionary plan to overhaul the company. The new initiative “Own the Reality” is the “most ambitious social and environmental responsibility plan ever undertaken by a major brand”, according to the German sportswear giant.
“Together with the board of directors, we are fundamentally reshaping the very structure of our company, from the top down, so that leadership will now also come from the bottom up,” said Gulden in a press release published on Monday...
